A factory-laminated PDLC unit on low-iron substrate. Sealed at the edge with TOSSEAL 381, supplied with two busbar pigtails. Installs into any standard 14 mm glazing rebate. The base build of the PRIVASEE smart-glass programme.

Smart Film

Switchable PDLC film by the roll. Adhesive grades for retrofit, non-adhesive for in-house lamination. Five-layer construction with ITO + PDLC sandwich.

Layer anatomy

The PDLC layer sits between two ITO-coated PET carriers. Apply low-voltage AC across the busbars - liquid crystals align - the film goes clear. Less than half a second either way.

The same T91 grade as the adhesive variant — supplied without backing for vacuum-EVA lamination in our factory. This is the film that goes inside SG-01, LG-01, and LG-AC.
